1955 Chevrolet Sedan Delivery by Boyd Coddington

The Sedan Delivery, the Boyd as it was called, is painted in a Mercedes Benz brilliant silver with the original dark 1955 Chevrolet shadow gray on the dash, engine compartment, inner fenders and chassis. The Boyd's Custom Wheels on this car are machined from one billet of alloy with a CNC Machine. 15 X7 Wheels are fitted at the front and 15 x 10 at the rear and perfectly offset to allow the frame and body to remain stock. Along with his signature Wheels he included a signature billet steering wheel with matching gray leather. The Sedan Delivery was built with a new street and performance Chevrolet 350 cubic inch engine with tuned port fuel injection. Boyd typically used new engines dressed up with a complete billet treatment by street and performance in his rods at that time. This one is mated to a new B & M Turbo 350 transmission with a shift kit. The interior is finished beautifully with dark gray carpeting through out and with lighter gray tweed cloth on the seats. The doors are finished in tweed cloth with color accents that match the pin striping in the sail panel logo and carpeting. This car was lower 4 inches, has power steering, power disc brakes, power windows, air conditioning, and a 300 watt Alpine CD system with 14 concealed speakers.
